Circumstances can arise in any workplace that may require immediate first aid assistance for workers, contractors or members of the public. All workplaces are required to apply a risk management process to identify the most appropriate arrangements for the provision of first aid including the scope of training required for in house first aid officers. The ability of any organisation to respond promptly to any such emergency is dependent
upon a number of factors that will be identified through a first aid risk assessment.

This program is made available in three forms;

First Aid Planning Work Shop is a two hour workshop facilitated by JKA for a workplace cross-section group of participants to identify risks, scope the plan and develop a comprehensive First Aid Management Plan for promulgation within the host organisation.

Emergency Management Awareness is a short 1 hour briefing of all staff through multiple sessions to introduce, explain and reinforce the key requirements of employees during any first aid emergency in strict accordance with the First Aid Management Plan.

First Aid Training for First Aiders is a first aid training program tailored to the needs of the host organisation and each participant as identified through the First Aid Management Plan.
